For all the good attributes Islam has, still, many misconceptions can be found out there (in print, television, pop culture, etc..)...I'm sure all of us have either encountered or heard of these misconceptions about Islam, or Muslims in general, at least once...
The upcoming event will address some of these concerns, and what effective & positive solutions there are to overcome such misconceptions and also encourage positive dialogue. Furthermore, an essential part of the equation for better understanding of issues concerning us all, is to seek and acquire knowledge, which is evident in the Quran, as well as in traditions of The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
