Dr ilham Al-Qaradawi, Qatar-based physicist and daughter of the most famous Islamic cleric in the world (Youssuf Al-Qaraqawi) is visiting the Muhammad Institute starting Saturday July 17.

Maryland Muslim space scientist Dr Sayed Talaat is also coming to the MI during her visit.

The meetings will all culminate in the public announcement Monday July 26th at UBC of MI's new project to land a science lab on the moon by 2013 baring the name of the Prophet (pbuh): Muhammad Moon Station 1. (See upcoming events in www.MuhammadInstitute.org <http://www.MuhammadInstitute.org>  and attached brochure).

I made the announcement for the first time 2 weeks ago in Doha, carried live by two Qatari channels and covered extensively by several Middle Eastern channels and newspapers.

Monday July 26th 8pm (tea and coffee), I would like you to join us for an intimate reception at the Muhammad Institute UBC site (Google “6201 Cecil Green Park Road”, Green College, UBC) to be part of these exciting developments and to meet Drs Ilham and Elsayed, pride of the Islamic world. Since this is an after-dinner event, we will try to serve tea, coffee and cookies during the reception.

Seats are very limited for this very special occasion. So you need to confirm now to reserve your seat. The event is suitable for adults only (18+).

30 seats total, first come first served
