The Afghan Association of BC serves the interests of Afghans in BC while providing support for our brethren in Afghanistan. We organize religious, educational and social events throughout the year.

Our Mission is to promote and develop committed Muslim youth and kids who understand the true and balanced nature of Islam and apply it in their lives.

Non-profit bi-weekly Islamic newspaper distributed free at all mosques and Islamic centres, several public libraries and numerous Muslim-owned businesses across the Lower Mainland.

Al Huda Youth was established in 2006 with the intention of bringing together youth from the North Surrey and Greater Vancouver area.

Al-Taqwa Sisters is a youth group based in Surrey whose mission is to provide an Islamic atmosphere where sisters can learn about their Deen and establish social connections. 

The MYHL is a 24 hours-a-day telephone counseling service for Muslim youth in Canada & the U.S.

Az-Zahraa Islamic Academy strives to offer superior education in an environment rich with Islamic morals and values. The mandate of the school encompasses greater responsibility than only quality curricular education. It includes the spiritual and moral intelligence of every child. Our aim is to meet our children’s religious, academic, emotional, social, cultural, and physical needs.

The BCMA is currently the largest Muslim organization in the province representing 75,000 to 80,000 Sunni Muslims. The Muslims in British Columbia are experiencing exponential growth, from a population of 10,000 in 1980 to 75,000+ today. In 1980, there was only one location for Friday prayers in all of Vancouver and its surrounding suburbs. Today there are over fifteen locations for Friday prayers in the Greater Vancouver area alone, not including centers in the outlying areas such as Kelowna, Nanaimo, Abbotsford, Prince George and Victoria.

The city of Prince George is located approximately 750 km north of Vancouver and 700 km south of the Yukon/Alaska Border. The population in Prince George is currently estimated at 80,000. The Muslim population in Prince George is growing steadily due to the diversification of the local economy and an effective support network provided by the local Muslim community for the practice of Islam.

The Canada Palestine Association (CPA) was formed in 1980 by Palestinian Canadians and their supporters. The Canada Palestine Association engages in many activities from fundraising for Palestinian medical charities to educational forums to advocacy work with all levels of government.

An organization created in early 2002 to increase our collective understanding on issues of importance to Arab Canadians.

A Relgious/Social organization formed by Muslims who originated from Fiji but now reside in Canada.

This organization also publishes a magazine called "The Minaret"

A non-profit and charitable society, dedicated to making a difference through counselling and academic services towards multi-cultural communities.

Coastline Marriage and Family Counselling is a new service finally available to BC’s growing Muslim community. An estimated 65,000 Muslims, mostly families, call British Columbia home. While much is made about the high level of education and standard of living enjoyed by BC’s Muslim community, the family experience has, and continues to be, one of moral disintegration: high rates of divorce, innumerable cases of domestic violence, neglect of the elderly, and perhaps most importantly, an ever-increasing gap between early immigrant Muslims who came to Canada and their Canadian-born children who are faced with the challenge of growing up and living in a culture drastically different from that of their parents.

The Council of Shia Muslim Communities will strive to speak and act on behalf of Shia Muslims in British Columbia with fellow Canadians in a manner that protects, promotes, and enhances the understanding of Islam in general and Shia Muslims in particular in matters of public policy, education, peace and safety.

Dar al-Madinah Islamic Society has been actively giving Da’wah from 1994. Our mission is to educate our fellow Muslim brothers/sisters about the message of our Prophet, may Allah praise him.

Dr. Kim-Sing is a practicing Pediatrician in Burnaby with over 20 years of experience.

The Circumcision is performed under local anesthetic and virtually complication free.

Muslim-Jewish collaborative project which sets out monthly to prepare nutritious lunches for one hundred plus homeless men and women in the Downtown Eastside.

The Hidayah Muslim Youth group's mission is to develop disciplined and committed muslim youth, through the training programs, that have a comprehensive understanding of Islam and that are capable of spreading this understanding.

The International Solidarity Movement (ISM) is a Palestinian-led movement of Palestinian and International activists who utilize nonviolent direct action to support the Palestinian struggle for freedom and an end to Israeli occupation.

In October 1995 a suitable place was found in East Vancouver on busy Kingsway, bordering Burnaby, New Westminister and North Vancouver. An agreement was signed to lease the upper floor for three years. After extensive renovation, The Islamic Information Center opened its doors to all Muslims in the Lower Mainland, November 01st, 1995.

The Islamic Society of British Columbia and Masjid al-Hidayah primarily serves the Muslim community of the cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge.

The Islamic Speakers Bureau of Vancouver is a non-profit organization which provides presentations about Islam and Muslims which are academic, informative, objective, neutral, but never devotional in nature.

ISCC members are from all the denominations of Islam. ISCC believes that the Muslims should not be divided based upon their schools of thoughts.

The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is a charitable, religious, social, cultural, educational, and not-for-profit organization. It is a pioneering Islamic organization, an Islamic revival, and reform movement that uplifts the individual, the family, and society.

The Muslim Business Council of British Columbia, established in 2008, is an association representing approximately 100 (and growing) member businesses, professionals and students in British Columbia. Our members are drawn from a diverse sectors of the provincial economy, including real estate, financial services, law, food services, healthcare, automotive, transportation, information technology, telecommunications, energy, tourism, retail, construction, education and professional services.

Our objective is to ensure needy families are provided with Food in a regular and consistent manner as part of the overall social services.  We are a committed management team working in cooperation and in tandem with all Masjid/Musalla committees and designated Muslim Food Bank representatives in the various localities.

The Muslim Students Association (MSA) is a volunteer organization run by Muslim students on campus.

The University of Victoria Muslim Student Association (MSA) is a non-profit, non-political student organization.

MSA-UBC is affiliated with the MSA National, which is the uniting and coordinating body of all local Muslim Students Associations in North America.

Women in Dawah was formed by a group of five Muslim women in 2003. The organization was created as a result of the group's vision where families are able to empower themselves to improve their overall quality of life. Women in Dawah is a registered charity organization. The organization works on a number of projects that range from education & skill development to emergency relief and providing basic food requirements. Women in Dawah provides humanitarian services regardless of race, creed, religion or nationality.

Naseeha, which literally means "Advice", is a confidential youth advice network for young Muslims in Canada and the USA. And, as the Muslim Community continues to grow in North America, so do the problems amongst the youth. And at times, they don’t know who to turn to for help. 1-866.627.3342

The New Westminster Islamic Society has adopted a pragmatic approach to build the mosque with a cost-efficient budget. The society is looking forward to receiving donations from all Muslims. Donating money to build a Masjid for the sake of Allah is a Sadaqah Jariah (continued Charity) meaning the reward will continue to reach the donor even after his/her death.

Pakistan-Canada Association is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1963 by the late Riasat Ali Khan.  We are the oldest Pakistani organization in Canada and founders of the first mosque, Al-Jamia Masjid Vancouver, in Western Canada.

The Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association is a non-political, cultural and social organization that strives to promote the presence of the people of Pakistani decent in British Columbia.

Last year alone, hundreds of BC Doctors referred more than 2000 infants for circumcision to Dr. Neil Pollock.

The method used is virtually painless and virtually bloodless

• It takes about 30 seconds to complete
• Dr Pollock has performed over 30,000 circumcisions
• Complication rates are extremely low

RISEN BC the Reverts to Islam Support and Education Network of BC Society?s.

The Az Zahraa Islamic Center enables its members to promote the values and practices of the Islamic Shia Ithna Asheri Jaffari Faith for the spiritual, social, educational and economic well being of the community.

The Sufi Meditation Centre of Vancouver conducts weekly gatherings  for the benefit of all those who are interested in spirituality.  Our aim is to promote a cross-cultural spiritual experience, to help people to grow and learn through healing, and to increase awareness about the spiritual and universal aspect of Sufism.

This program is for refugees and new immigrants ,who live in Richmond and have a child/children under 6 years old.

’The Miracle’ is a newspaper of the Muslim community of British Columbia.

The Muhammad Institute for Space Science is a Canadian-based space science institute dedicated to the development in the Islamic World of advanced astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, and space exploration.

This is a group for all you Vancouver Muslims. The idea behind the creation of this group was based on the lack of community connection for Muslims in Vancouver. This is a place for us to start to know our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, for networking, doing events together, or just social hang-outs in general.

Westcoast Sheen is a new community group that seeks to build dialogue and mutual learning within a diverse Muslim community, and support justice, equality and dignity for all peoples and the Earth.

Group of Muslims in Whistler , BC want to practise Al –Jomaah  pray’s  so we started on April 16th ,2010 to use Whistler public library to pray Al-Jomaah and  in Shaa Allah we will continue every Friday to pray Al-Jomaah from 1:30 to 2:30 in whistler public library also the meeting hall is booked for us.

Zawiyah Foundation is an Islamic Centre in Vancouver, BC. Its objective is to develop a conducive learning environment for traditional Islam. Other than weekly Tafsir classes and Quran classes for children, it also runs programs like feeding the homeless and the Masjid At-Tawbah mosque-building project.
